NOTE: These rules are not laws. We do not expect perfection from people. Whilst we will always act immediately to protect people from harassment, we would much prefer people talk things out, learn from their mistakes and come to mutual understandings about things in other cases. Whilst this is harder to do than simply kicking people out, it is necessary to create healthy communities.
- These events currently take plase at Lincoln Square.
- These events are strictly for people ages 16+.
- You are welcome to wear attire reflecting your subculture and identity such as masks, tails, animal ears or animal-esque accessories like collars.
- However, as minors will be attending this event, we ask that you refrain from wearing explicit gear such as harnesses and leashes.
- If you are able to, it would be appreciated if you brought snacks to share. However if you can't, that is OK.
- If you would like to, you could also bring a picnic blanket or a folded chair to sit on. There are benches at the park, but we may run out of room.
- Feel free to bring a personal project or two to work on.
- We are here to support each other, not tear each other down. Please do not give people unsolicited criticism of their work or correct them on technicalities, these things can be quite demoralising for people.
- Additionally, please respect people's pronouns, don't be bigoted, etc.
- Please be considerate of other people's boundaries and assertive in communicating your own.
- Do not proposition others. It's not that kind of event.
- If somebody is making you feel unsafe, please contact us either via discord DM or email. Please include the name of the person harassing you (if known) in your email.
- Regrettably, we must ask you to please leave the playground equipment alone so as not to disturb any families who might be using it or prevent children from getting to enjoy it.
